Gas station robbed at gunpoint in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police said they’re looking for suspects after two men robbed a gas station at gunpoint on Friday night.

Police said the suspects entered the Fairway One Stop #5 at 1305 N. Liberty St. around 8:15 p.m. and demanded money.

Police said one suspect jumped over the counter and fired several rounds into the air. No injuries were reported.

Authorities said they took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran off.

The suspects were described as two black men, wearing black clothing, ski masks, and white gloves.
