DISCOVERING YOUR TALENT

The Born Winner
“A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.”

“A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.”

Talent is inborn. It is a powerful gift that raises you far above your peers. Talent is a priceless asset that lasts for a lifetime. It cannot be taken away from you. Discovering your talents involves looking deep inside of you and recognizing the areas you are good at. You just have to discover yourself. ‘A moment of instinct worth a lifetime of experience,’ they say.
Talent often comes naturally, for in most cases, people are born with it. Be it the gift of creative writing, singing, dancing, modeling, playing, drums, oratory, knitting, designing, painting, baking, acting or what have you. Make the best use of it, because it is a rare privilege not so many people would enjoy.
Always remember that you are the boss of your life, because your life is what you make of it. And don’t forget that nothing happens until something moves. Discover yourself, believe and achieve! The world is your oyster.

HOW DEARLY IS TIME TO YOU?

“Time flies, when it does, it is difficult to catch up with it.”
Time is Flying
“Time is precious to the man who wants to succeed. “

A minute wasted is an hour rejected; the same way a minute lost is never regained. Time is money that is more easily spent than saved. A person who misuses his time will regret at the end. One should always use time in the most profitable and productive way in order to achieve success. We should always try to use our time wisely in order to get the best result.

Time is precious to the man who wants to succeed. We should learn how to do the right thing at the right time. Some students are fond of whiling away their time early in the term, but when examinations are around the corner, they start cramming and rushing over things. Some will go to the extent of using brain pills and stimulants which would keep them awake all night.
There was a girl whose school fees were paid and every necessary thing was made available for her. But what did the parents get in return? She turned a deaf ear to their entreaties. The day of reckoning came; the promotion exam was difficult for her. She couldn’t scale through. So she stayed in the same class for two years. In spite all this, she still maintained a nonchalant attitude and ultimately fell out of school. This young girl still didn’t learn her lessons. She went on to worse things and joined a gang of robbers.
It was when she was caught, arrested and sentenced to death that she eventually came to her senses. “If I had known I would have used my time most beneficially during my school days. My parents, at least were prepared to foot my bill,” she lamented. That was how she ended as a never-do-well school girl who misused her time and opportunity.
We should all take care to spend our time and opportunity. ‘Tempus fugit, memento mori,’ it simply means time is fleeting.

DELUSIVE PURSUIT OF PERFECTION

“The true perfection of man lies not in what a man has, but in what he is.”    Oscar Wilde

DELUSIVE PURSUIT OF PERFECTION
“No man is perfect, except Jesus”

Is anyone really perfect? We go about life and our activities trying to be the best that we can. Sometimes, trying too hard makes us lose focus on the things that matter most. One thing we should know is that nobody is perfect; we are all just working towards perfection, but until we get the understanding of who we really are, we would not be able to achieve much, let alone attaining our desires or goals in life.

Do you know who you are? Do you know what makes you tick? You need to work on yourself to be better appreciated by the people around you. Know your confines, standards and the things you hold dear that can make you a better person.
People go about life with the view to finding everything right with an individual. They fail to realize that no human being is perfect. Why don’t we forget about looking out for faults in people and build ourselves mentally, spiritually and in other ramifications? It would amaze us how fast we will be located by thegood things life has to offer. Stop looking for perfection, because you won’t find it. Seize the day, make good use of every opportunity that comes your way and success will come knocking at your door.

ARE YOU ENTHUSIASTIC ENOUGH?

Albert Einstein once wrote,
“we act as though comfort and luxury where the chief requirements of life. All that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about.”
Albert was right. Many people, young and old, male and female, whites and blacks think only about being rich, comfortable and to spend luxuriously. Well, base on the knowledge I recently acquired about luxury; it is something that is an indulgence rather than a necessity. And talking about indulgence; it is simply a way of gratifying desires. For me, it is a foolish and in fact a senseless behaviour.
Instead of focusing only on comfort and luxury we should rather get something doing. Something that will fire us up, makes us happy and at the same time excited. Anything can indeed draw or make us happy. For example, some people found delights in reading, acting, dancing, singing and much more. As for me, my delights are simply in writing, acting and reading whatever I found my hands on. If you try to change your perception and be rationally inclined. You’ll soon find out that doing things that makes you happy, excited, and you just want to keep laughing are things that are literally worth it and are things you should take with necessity. Not mere comfort and luxury.
Finally peeps, looking at all these closely and with a great knowledge, you will come to understand that these so called comfort and luxury aren’t the chief requirements of life. It is instead, being excited about life and living it enthusiastically.
